80's scarf from Ronnie Wood

The Detail - Rock chic

Evoking the spirit of the '60s' and '70s' Kings Road in London, 'Once Upon a Time' clothes are as sweet and ultra-feminine as they are cool and rock chickish. Founders Donna Kernan and Dominique Miller cite Marianne Faithfull and Marc Bolan as inspiration saying they wanted to create a unique 'I'm-with-the-band' look. The collection is feminine – silks and wool with bead embellishment, embroidery and whimsical prints, while the brand's trademark star-print lining finishes each garment. We like a lot. The label is now available (among other places) at Kilkenny Design stores, with items such as this bunny-print top retailing at €189.95. For more see www.kilkennyshop.com.

The Spree - Bag it

A bit of designer arm candy without too much bling factor and not at a serious It bag price? This super shiny leather bag from Jaeger ticks all the boxes. Perfect size for a bit of sneaky post-work Christmas shopping too. Its €380 by Jaeger at Richard Alan, South King Street, Dublin 2.

The Statement - Get in tune

This eye-poppingly '80s' scarf is from the Ronnie Wood collection done in collaboration with Liberty's in London and inspired by the bright canvasses which have become the signature of the rocker-turned-part-time-painter. Could be so wrong but some how it works. Ronnie Wood guitar scarf, €280, Brown Thomas.
