THE new Volvo S 60 is due here next year after a launch at the Geneva Motors Show. This is a hi-tech car and it can be fitted with a pedestrian detection device, a system that shows walkers in front of the car and automatically applies the breaks when the driver does not react in time.

Volvo say the new S60 is now sportier and more dynamic. With with the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes Benz C-Class and Audi A4 in its sights the engineering department has put its best technology to use.

Volvo boss, Stephen Odell, says that the S60 looks and drives like no other previous model that Volvo have put out and that the new engineering and computer developments make it very safe for all road users.
