During one magical mystery tour which featured many fours, a few sixes and many people learning what 'lbw' meant, the Irish team reached the 'Super 8' of the Cricket World Cup, beating Pakistan in Jamaica on St Patrick's Day. There weren't many supporters 'not out' that night...

Another Apple phenomenon emerges for the wish-list. The iPhone was released in the States in June 2007 with die-hard fans camping outside Apple stores to get their hands on an iPhone. It didn't hit Irish shops until early 2008.


We were watching… the sopranos finale


Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing' entered our all-time top 10 as The Sopranos ground to a halt in 2007. Uproar ensued after the series finale aired as fans speculated about the open ending. So the question remains – was Tony Soprano whacked?
