Kate Moss for Topshop

The Detail - Kate hits the Top again

KATE MOSS 's fourth collection for Topshop hit the stores last week and is definitely one of her most covetable yet. Whether it's the fact the weather has turned nasty and we're fantasising about luxe bedwear and loungewear, or that we're already gearing up a notch to party time and are lusting after all that is darkly glamorous, these clothes have struck a chord. It is the first time the fledgling designer has debuted nightwear, and for this she has delved into her own archives (Mossy has apparently three massive wardrobes in her house which are big enough to hold pre-party parties for select friends. Jealous? Us?) and made copies of her own favourite pieces for the range, which comprises Oriental kimonos, silk camis and luxe underwear. While the range is only available in flagship stores such as Stephen's Green and Jervis Centre, as always a limited edition consignment is kept aside for online shoppers. The Statement - Tickle your fancy

How much more statement-making can you get than with a knock-out black feathered cape like this one? It's from the Asos Black Label collection which has just gone online and is full of all sorts of sparkling and sequinned delights. It's €43 on www.asos.com.

The Steal - Ear perfection

Loving these art deco-inspired teardrop earrings which are just the right amount of glam for daywear but won't look out of place on a night out either. And for only €13.50 at Accessorize. Credit crunch me up!

* With world war II-like rationing at the top of everyone's minds, we're loving the 1940s' aesthetic of fashion label Mina. All tea dresses, chunky boots and cosy knits – very Edge of Love – we weren't surprised to hear that Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller are both big fans of the brand. Find it at Arnotts Project, Dublin, the Kilkenny Group and Mego in Swords.

* If you've been searching in vain for an acceptable alternative to Uggs – admit it, we all still wear them at home when nobody's looking – meet the Bronx Reno boot, which is taking the LA crowd by storm.
