In Norway, the people of Bergen are devastated after a replica town made of gingerbread was destroyed by vandals. Police and local media are appealing for help in apprehending the vandals who wrecked the city's famous Christmas decoration consisting of 650 biscuit houses. "The people who did this must be full of gingerbread dust. They will smell a long way," police inspector Erik Sveaas said.
