NFL Division Two: Meath 2-8, Armagh 0-13, Páirc Tailteann, Navan

A tense thriller in Navan eventually ended in a Meath victory following an absorbing contest. There was a real dash to the football early on, and Meath pocketed a third-minute goal when Stephen Bray rattled the Armagh net after Paul Hearty had saved David Bray's initial effort. And Meath went in with a 1-6 to 0-6 interval advantage, and added another goal seconds after the restart when impressive full-forward Jamie Queeney provided a blistering finish. But Armagh's response dripped with passion as they scored six unanswered points courtesy of Ryan Henderson, Finian Moriarity, Stevie McDonnell (three) and Joe Feeney to draw level, but two late David Bray frees ensured Meath prevailed
